It’s not a stupid question. It’s one I’ve asked myself many times 😂 I’ve found generally the month it says tends to be the end month so that item will be 9-12. But you can obviously always try your child in it to check.

Not helpful but I often find it depends entirely on the brand 🤷‍♀️. The more expensive the smaller I’ve found - apart from the white company which is for giants 😂

Some clothes also only have 1 age so they are smaller with less room to grow than the usual 9-12 months clothing.
