i’m opening a savings with halifax!

I have a JISA for both my kids. Any money from birthdays and Christmas will go in that until they are old enough to decide they want to use it on something then and there. They can’t access till they’re 18 so I’m seeing it as investing into their future x

I have a JISA for both of mine with NatWest

Halifax have a 12 month term monthly saver with a 5.5% interest rate and then after 12 months it turns into a kids saver with them. This one is accessible to withdraw at any time. When I go back to work I'll also do a JISA.

What is a JISA? This sounds similar to what my parents done for me when I was a kid till I was 18 and this is exactly what I want to do for him! X

Do you gain interest with one of them? X

@Kas it’s a junior ISA so they won’t get the money until they are 18, yes you get interest on a JISA but it goes up and down all the time x

I’ve done a kids isa x

We have halifax childrens savings accounts for both our boys.xx

Thank you all! Xx
