@Ali what did you say when you called up ?
Have you felt movements yet? Are you in the uk?
Yes I’m in the uk and no no movement I thought I would as I felt it with my first at 17 weeks I’m nearly 18 weeks and nothing yet and heard you can feel it earlier with 2nd pregnancy
If you're worried call 111 and tell them your concerns I felt movement with my first at 24weeks but i dont think youll feel your second much earlier, maybe at 20wks. When i was 7wks I had slight bleeding and felt something was off, I called 111 and they had me go in a&e to check me over, they booked me in for a scan the next day to see my baby and check heartbeat ect and they told me everything was ok, deffo recommend this to put your mind at ease
Thank you x
Speak to your midwife, or contact your maternity unit and just explain to them, they may say to go up to the hospital and they’ll do a listen etc. I didn’t feel my first baby until 22-24 weeks, and the same for my second it was about 24 weeks. The doctors won’t do anything, it’ll be your midwife you’ll need to contact x
Always get yourself checked out if you’re feeling like this xx
I’m just worried they’ll say it’s all good because I do feel silly feeling like this as I’ve not got bleeding or other symptoms to think somethings wrong it’s just a feeling
Either the early pregnancy unit at hospital (where youll get a scan) or midwife (where they'll check on bubbis heartbeat) will do something Doesn't matter if you're not bleeding or got pain ect they will still see you and not judge so don't worry, hospitals take pregnancys seriously and will always see you even to ease your mind
For me it was a routine appointment and I just expressed my concerns then, but I’m sure if you called and said you think something is wrong they’ll get you in
If you call and make an appointment they should do the Doppler, maybe even an ultrasound to reassure you! This happened to me at 13 wks
