Blood test on toddler
My son is having a blood test next month. He will be 3 end of the month but just wondering where do they do a blood test on a toddler? As I been prescribed numbing cream to put on him beforehand but not been told where 🤣

Back of hand for us, and they held up a big card with pictures on it so he couldn't see and to distract him. They just put the numbing spray on for him
They put numbing cream on the back of both of my daughter’s hands and in the creases of both elbows. Said that it’s better to have lots of areas incase one doesn’t work. They got it first time out of the back of her hand though.
My son needed a venous sample when he was around 16 months old. They took it from the back of his hand x
