I would stay at home longer if you can, you can’t get that time back and you may regret it as it’s something you want to do. Don’t let other peoples negativity get in the way, it’s your parenting journey, enjoy x
If I could, I would 100% stay home! There’s nothing like actually raising your own children and enjoying this time with them. Honestly, I wouldn’t care what anyone has to say about it, it’s not their life. I’m going back part time as we need the money, but I’m grateful I can afford to be with them more than if I had a full time job.
If you can afford to stay at home, then do it. They grow up so fast, so treasure this time with them.
I’m feeling the same. I’m torn between going back but only part time, or be a SAHM. I feel like I want to stay home which my husband has said I can do and that we can afford it, but I feel so guilty that I won’t be bringing in any money at all and that things will be tighter money wise. But then most of my wage would go on nursery fees. I think we put so much pressure on ourselves!
I've gone back 2 days a week only. But that's mainly because I'm quite in need of the stimulation and seeing other people. My partner takes him one of the days and I WFH the other. I'm trying to avoid nursery as long as possible so will probably stick with 2 days only until school
I’m staying at home while my boyfriend is going to work, it’s only my first but I really want to stay home and raise her. So if you can manage for a while financially then stay at home with your bubba especially if you’re not doing it again
