Bit off more than I could chew lol.

The picture on the pattern does NOT make it look as big as it’s clearly going to be. But after the whole koala vs wolf debacle earlier… My almost birthday girl changed her mind and wanted a unicorn instead. Sooooo we started that. And almost regretted it once I started the head. 😩 I’mmmmmm gonna need more yarn and gotta learn to crochet quickly. I have 8 days to get this done in time for her third birthday. What my princess wants, my princess gets. (I may need new hands after this one. My fingers were killing me when I put it down for the night lol) Also debating going and getting a different yarn for the horn. This one isn’t a 4 weight one it’s 3 I think. I didn’t figure it would make a HUGE difference but I’d like the horn to be just a bit bigger. She picked all the colors (blue, pink, “ocean”, black and white) and insisted the horn HAS TO BE “ocean” aka orange. These children are going to be the death of my hands and wrists. Like damn y’all I have carpal tunnel here can we just… take a break?! 🤣 I still have sooo much to make after this though. Remaking my sons wolf even though he says he loves the non wolf I made, 2 of the 3 girls neeeeeed pink penguins, I’m surprising my dad with a wolf or something Indian inspired since he loves that type of thing, hubby wants me to make a damn snake… I wish I was getting paid for this cause I swear I don’t get more than an hour of my day that I’m not crocheting something 😂 charge them by the dang hour. Hubby can pay me in books that aren’t allowed to be complained about when I grab them, kids can pay me by being good and quiet for once. Now to retreat back to the never ending world of yarn and crochet hooks.
