Please no judgement

I’m about 19 weeks pregnant and smoke to help with nausea( before I got pregnant and since) as well as my back pain (again before and it’s just gotten worse since) I live in a legal state but read that if you quit before 20 weeks it’s not in the baby’s system at birth, ive cut down a lot barely finishing a joint in 24 hours but quitting all together has me worried about my health, could I have some ideas as to what to do, nicely please 🙏

Been smoking this entire time. Couldn’t have survived without it.

No judgement from me . I smoked the whole time. I’m currently breast-feeding and still do . Maybe low dose edibles may work for you if you want to stop completely

I smoke my whole pregnancy and live in a legal state

I partook in the green goddess my entire pregnancy because I had HG and otherwise I would not hold down anything!!! (like literally water would be coming back up if I did no) so since you live in a legal state, what I would do is just lower your consumption which you’re doing naturally already that’s what I did. I lived in a non legal state around 20 weeks. I lowered my consumption drastically to a hit or two a day so that I could eat and not be in pain. Edibles also really helped when I felt like smoking was no longer the move.

I smoked my whole 9 months nobody tested me and my kids are too intelligent!!! 😆 🤣 😂

It really helped for a smooth pregnancy my Dr's said they can't tell me anything wrong with it besides the smoking part but my kids lungs are fine minus one who INHERITED my asthma.

I smoked the whole time I was pregnant with my boys. Even smoked right before I went in for the C Section. I'm pretty sure they ran a drug test on me and them and they said absolutely nothing about it.

Currently smoking trying to quit but it helps with my nausea and stress too, I went to a birthing center last pregnancy ( this is my second) and the birthing center was 420 inclusive haha so I didn’t have a worry there

wouldn’t smoke, but edibles are safer

I tried smoking when I was pregnant but it added to my nausea, it was awful. So I did stop and we were fine. Also my nurse did a drug test and was very upset about the marijuana in my system. She had a few threats to share with me even though it's legal in my state.

@Angela wtf what were her threats that’s crazy work

@Sarah more than likely threatened to take her baby. That was my biggest fear throughout my whole pregnancy, but I had to smoke because it was the only thing that helped my nausea

I tired gum honestly quitting isn’t a huge stress as long as your eating healthy and it’s only your first pregnancy you should be fine. It’s easier on your mental health if you smoke then don’t. Also props to you mama for no nicotine while your smoking weed. That’s the main worry
