You can use the Party Platform Tracker that has different areas and what each party plans to do. https://www.ctvnews.ca/federal-election-2025/party-platforms/
You can look at the party's individual website. For example, if you go to the liberal website, when you click on the menu drop down, select "our plan" and from there you can see the 8 plan components to click on each. NDP is similar the plan components are on the front page of their website. You can also lookup the voting record for your specific candidates in your riding.
Thank you everyone! This is only my second time voting and I could not figure it out!
I've been using this one, it lays everything out by topic https://newsinteractives.cbc.ca/features/2025/federal-party-platforms/
@Amaryllis oh man this was so helpful thank you!!!🙏
Definitely do the vote compass quiz to see where your values line up with the parties'. https://votecompass.cbc.ca/
I found it helpful to use AI like perplexity.ai to help organize the information especially on things that were important to me like childcare or education
Watching the debate may be a good start! I would also look into the candidates in your riding since that’s who would be representing you. You can find that here https://www.elections.ca/scripts/vis/FindED?L=e&PAGEID=20 vote compass is also a great resource that is a quiz and can show you where you align with each party. Good luck!!!
