Oh no! I’ve got mines tomorrow and my midwife warned me the drink ‘wasn’t pleasant’ 🙈😭 is it quite a lot you drink?
I’ve just had mine and thought it was fine… if your used to drinking cordial it’s just a slightly stronger version
@Lucinda it’s about 300ml It wasn’t pleasant. Added to fact that it’s the first thing you’re drinking in hours
@Nike thanks hun , it’s criminal 😂
@Laura nah never had cordial . I work in hospital , I always give my patient now I understand why most of them hate it .
Made me so nauseous afterwards .
Mine was like capri sun! I wanted another 😭 it said Orange Flavour on the packet
I’ve just had mine and honestly it wasn’t bad at all.. although I didn’t get a choice of flavour
@Derin I can’t wait to eat something to take that feeling off me
@Z mine was mixed in a cup , couldn’t even taste any flavor
@Zarreen mine was pre mixed so I didn’t too
@Vee I’ve heard people say this. Mine was an actual pouch. I don’t know why they don’t just make the one flavour if that seems to work for everyone. Weren’t allowed to leave the waiting room so felt hot stuffy and sickly only from being starving
Yes mine was a pouch too so sounds like we had different stuff
Mine was orange in a pouch. I don’t like orange squash usually so expected to hate it but it wasn’t too bad. The nurse said when she had it at a diff hospital it was a smaller amount but a sort of peach flavour and was horrible. Seems to vary between trusts

Mine was just a flat lemonade kind of drink in a half filled cup. It actually tasted fine. The lady doing my test did advise to sit near an open window (there was a window that could be opened so I did that) or where there was enough airflow as it can help with how you will generally feel through the test.
Mine was a nice orange flavour, by the end I just felt a little sick but I enjoyed the flavour
Oh no!🙈 how did it go after? Does everyone have to have this drink? Seeing a lot of it on here but I’m 29+1 and nothings been mentioned 🩷
@Paige you only have to have a GTT if you’re measuring big, have diabetes or a family history of diabetes - if not then you might not need to
@Danielle thank you. Nothing mentioned so far 🤞🏻
@Paige yeah , I thought they offer to everyone but I’ve a family history of diabetes. Maybe that’s why .
@Z oh my I felt so dizzy after wards . Glad it’s over
I know, that drink is terrible 😢 🤣 You’ll do just fine mama 💪
