Toddler on formula

Is anyone else’s toddler still on formula? My little one is almost 18 months and hates all kinds of milks, other than her formula!! 😓🫠 she’s on stage 3 cow and gate toddler milk. I would love for her to not be on it anymore but she just spits every kind of milk out. She has semi skimmed milk with her cereal. Would it be ok to introduce semi skimmed milk (green bottle) to her rather than the full fat one which she hates. Please help I’m struggling

Is she having cheese and yoghurts and other dairy too?

Yes she is having everything like that

She might be fine without milk then have a look at the NHS website it says how much calcium they need a day

Id say don't bother giving milk and the guidance changed so it doesn't need to be full fat anymore. Semi skimmed is fine.

have you tried nondairy milks?

The thing is she is still waking for feeds in the night (at least one feed) and yes I’ve tried non dairy milk too

If you want her to have full fat milk maybe try giving her the skim that she had with cereal and then slowly change it to the full fat milk. You could mix a bit of the full fat in after she's used to drinking the skim and slowly increase the amount of full fat milk til she's used to it. I ended up doing it with my son.

My daughter never drank milk. She got what she needed from real food. Have you talked to your pediatrician about it?

Have you tried just water at night?
