She could be spoked and hiding, cats can outdo their hunger if hiding in fear if so try looking for her at dawn with a flash light. Best bet would be contacting the council they usually deal with vicious or strays. Myself and a neighbour lost our furbabies to a vicious dog in our street constantly getting out, it can unfortunately be a process. I hope your furbaby returns safely
So sorry to hear. She might be hiding and more likely if injured. Definitely contact the rangers, do you have a description of the dog/know the owners/if it’s a stray? Has your cat come back?
It’s not a stray and not a vicious breed at all and it’s a puppy so honestly like i expect that behaviour from a pup (my dog would likely do the same thing if she got out) and their dog got out by accident. They didn’t apologize or anything. My partner stood at the front door watching while they caught their dog and I was pacing around but couldn’t go out there as I had the baby in my arms, I left food out for her and I can see on the cameras that it’s been eaten so fingers crossed she’s ok. I didn’t see what happened just heard it at my door and then saw the dog chase my cat across the camera
Update: I have found her and she is fine. Checked over her body and all is good 🩷
So glad to hear it
You can call the police assistance line and ask them what options you may have. If the dog is supposed to be contained. Do you know your neighbours name and the dogs name and breed? It could have been a child. Umtil you find your cat, you also will have limited information. ie injury. Maybe able to claim for vet bills
