@Rema the water thing is so crazy, right? I always pack empty bottles to fill up once we get through security
@Raqi I usually do that too!
I think it just has to be sealed
Yes, as long as you aren't going anywhere international. I think that is the exception where you can't bring fruits and vegetables in with you.
You can. If you are traveling to another country you need to be a bit careful. We had a banana on the plane to Australia and my bag still smelt of it so the sniffer dog flagged us and we had to go through the additional checks line 😂
@Rema havnt they changed the water policy as they have machines that now scan.
You can but if you’re going international you need to throw any scraps or uneaten fruit away before going through customs and the ‘nothing to declare’ bit on the other side. If it’s within the same country you’re totally fine.
You can take any food with you inside the plane, as long as it isn’t frozen.
@Karen I haven’t traveled in well over a year. But I think they still don’t allow liquids over 3 oz but they will test. I flew with my son and husband to Chicago from Florida when my son was 8 months old. They wanted to test my son’s sippy cup of water. It wasn’t fun. My kid was literally holding it and drinking from it in security.
Yeah it’s fine but you usually have to eat it before landing or dispose of it on landing due to bio security.
You can, even international, as long as it's either all consumed on the plane or disposed of before going through biosecurity and customs. There are usually garbage bins in the hallways or when you get your luggage where you can throw things out.
@Parker 又 yeah they didn’t tell us we couldn’t take it. But they did tell us they had to test it. I think because it was over the 3oz allowed. Because when we flew back his cup was almost empty when we went through security and they didn’t say anything to us.
yes anything solid unless it’s baby food ( formula , breast milk that isn’t froze )
Apparently you can bring frozen water through security as it’s no longer classed as a liquid… not sure how true it is as I haven’t tried. The liquid limit is because in 2006 they found a liquid bomb plot which detonated liquid explosives on board. They now have other methods to throw that out but have kept it in place. You are allowed to bring non perishables, fresh solid meals, fruit/veg.. heck you can bring fast food on too🤦🏽♀️
Yes you can take any food you want on a plane lol just can’t bring water through security.
