Same as @Emma, the more she eats the more I’m giving the odd stick here and there to monitor her with 😂 Aldi do those melty stick crisp things and they melt better than Ella’s Kitchen in my opinion and that made me feel more comfortable giving them to her xx
I’m only doing purées and will be for a while.. I’ve tried giving her actual food but she just gags and spits it out so I don’t see the point. My MIL and my parents think BLW is a load of bollocks but they’re old fashioned I guess and never did any of it. I sort of agree with them.. I don’t think a baby this age is ready to be eating on their own, I get that it teaches them and gets them to play with different foods but my baby is getting hungrier by the day so I have to give her food otherwise she’ll scream at me 😂 I was puree and spoon fed and turned out fine so I’ll be doing the same with my baby
I haven’t stared blw for this exact reason! It terrifies me however I have started giving him cucumber sticks to help with his teething and carrot melt puffs and so far he’s been fine with them
