My son also had this issue. He would get distracted and would not like to feed. We did dream feeding for a few days. He also wanted more time between feedings. We have moved from 8-9 feedings to 6-7 feedings a day.
@Varsha what is dream feed ?
Same here no idea what baby is doing with me not feeding as usual
@Iqra feeding while they’re asleep
@Shelby Sommer at night or even at day time ?
@Iqra My son would have half his feed while awake (mostly during day) and then I would finish feeding the bottle when he slept. This was quite a temporary phase and passes soon
hmm, sounds like she's just discovering the world around her and getting a bit distracted, tbh! maybe try feeding in a quieter spot or when she's a bit sleepy? it's totally normal for them to go through phases like this! I actually checked the 'Heal App' for this and here's what it says: "It sounds like your daughter is going through a phase of increased awareness and distraction, which is quite common around this age. Babies often become more curious about their surroundings, making feeding times more challenging. Instead of spacing out feedings, try to create a calm and quiet environment during feeding times to minimize distractions. You might also consider offering smaller, more frequent feedings if she seems overwhelmed. It's normal for babies to go through phases where their feeding patterns change, and this doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. Have you noticed if certain times of day are better for feeding, or if there are specific distractions that seem to bother
Just take a break at that moment and wait for signs that she is hungry again. Her schedule may be changing.
Same. We switched to level 2 nipples. Helps a little but still gets distracted and doesn’t always finish
Hey! I had this problem for a little bit just a week ago and it turned out to be temporary. It may just be they were overstimulated or had a lot of energy and needed to play more. Once I tried that she seemed to do so much better. Also at times I found she would get really squirmy when she was gassier and needed to burp.
