If your child/children is NOT in daycare and you and your spouse both work full time, who watches the kids?

We don’t want our little one in daycare but it’s hard to get family to babysit when they have crazy schedules

He works full time days and I work full time nights. I've been sleep deprived for years but it's a sacrifice I've had to make in order to not ever send her to daycare. I do 3 12s though, there's no way I could work 5 nights a week, and even 4 I can't do more than a week or two

Not sure where you are, but I’m in the UK. Luckily work full-time from home, don’t have any family nearby to help with childcare. My daughter currently goes nursery 8:30-12:30pm. And then is home with me in the afternoon. My work were aware of this set up when I started but they’re very supportive and know we will be trying to get her in full-time from September with over 9 month olds getting 30 hrs free. Is there a reason you wouldn’t want your child in daycare. Is it costs or leaving them with people you don’t know? Maybe could try a childminder? We had my son with a childminder when he was 5 months until just over a year old and he loved it. The daily cost was much less than a nursery setting, we did have to provide lunches and milk. She was very understanding, and asked us questions if she wasn’t sure. Our son got to play with her grandkids too and she sent us regular pictures and updates throughout the day.

So my kids go to mothers Day out twice a week. My fiance works 8am-5pm, 5 days a week. I work from 5 pm to 11 pm thrusday through Sunday. But mothers Day out is only from 9am -2pm Tuesday and thrusday. So my mil watches them on the days I work. If she can't, then my fil does, and if he can't, then my sil comes over to my house, watches them till my fiance is home, then she leaves and he watches them.

He works the days and I work the nights! It’s tiring but we really down have the money for daycare and we figure as long as we are working the jobs we currently are with the hours we are there’s no reason
