Height

Hey I took my little boy to be measured today as he's recently gone into 12 to 18 month clothing and some of his 9 to 12 month clothes still fit him. He's 78 cm and just below the 4th pertictile. Weight and head circumference is fine and he's in proportion. He is adopted and his birth parents aren't very tall the health visitor said it could just be genetic and to monitor it. Guess I just want some reassurance my boys isn't the only one is a bit smaller than average?

Not my May baby, but my July 21 baby is turning 4 this year and she’s only 89cm so that will make you feel better. It depends whose height they inherit etc, obviously if both parents are shorter then the child will most likely be shorter too. I’m 5ft1 and my partner is 6ft2. My eldest clearly takes after me 😅 But my May baby is now around 81/82cm and catching my eldest up in every way so she’ll take after her dad I think 😂 My youngest has bigger hands and feet than my eldest and there’s 1lb difference in their weight at the moment 😂

My LO is around 84cm and still in 9-12 trousers! Everyone’s different shapes and sizes 🩷

@Becca it does thank you we are just a bit concerned my husband asked if there's anything we can do to make me grow. He eats and drinks well, he still has milk twice a day. He's birth parents are 5ft3 and 5ft7. They clearly take after both of you in their own way ☺️
