6 week old sleeping all day
My baby is turning 6 weeks tomorrow. She stays up majority of the night and she is very fussy, cries a lot. She used to cluster feed at night but now she is barely taking her bottle. She sleeps all day during the day. When I try to feed her, she barely takes 1 oz. If I force her to drink more. She spits it out. I dont know how to fix this. I am exhausted. Its killing me inside when people tell me their 1 month old started drinking 4 Oz and sleeping through the night. What am I doing wrong
Totally normal đ whoever said their 1 month old is sleeping through the night is either exaggerating or a rare case. Baby does not know the difference between day and night and do not have a circadian rhythm like us. Give it a few more weeks! I know itâs really hard, the newborn trenches are not fun but in no time baby will start to realize itâs nighttime. As far as drinking one ounce definitely speaking to your pediatrician. However my baby was only taking 2 maybeeee 3 ounces.
