Identity crisis 🫶

I’m a first time mum at 25 and I can’t help but feel like a girl instead of a woman!! Can anyone relate?! Alot of my friends / the community i live in are all starting or choosing to start the motherhood journey in their late 30’s / 40’s. It can feel quite daunting for me to reach out and make friends as I just feel so much younger and almost like I have imposter syndrome!! 🥲😂 Any tips or advice is welcome.

I feel that, I was 17 when I had my first, 22 with my second and 24 with my third and last.

I get it I had my first baby 24 all the mum friends I meet are always shocked with my age doesn’t help my mum is only 41 this year and had me super early so everyone always says oh I could be your mum 🤦🏼‍♀️

I get it I’m 20 and some of the women I meet could honestly be my mum so it’s really hard to make mum friends

I’m 27, about to have my first, and I always “joke” around and say I’m a child having a child! 😬

I’m in a similar mum as had my little one at 26 last year . I think it’s a learning curve so far but you’ll go back to yourself but a better version . It is hard to make mum friends too

I think just focussing on what you do have in common with other women rather than the differences always helps. We are all mothers at the end of the day and we should have common things to share regarding that whether we are 25 or 40

Literally feel the same way
