@Sara thank you so much for your reply , I’m just so worried thinking a million things 🥺🩷
Agree with Sara, but would add that when I first started on the pessaries I did get some cramping. I was worried too but was told that can be normal with taking progesterone. I had bleed through as well last time I took them, so no they don't mask a miscarriage. Maybe delay it, but if its going to happen it will. Xx
@Laura sorry for your loss 😔 thank you for your reply x
So I’m currently taking progesterone pessaries twice a day and no it doesn’t cover a mc if you’re having one and it won’t affect the test progression but I’ve heard it can cause cramping I’ve no cramping on it but I know it’s a side effect x
Morning! I took progesterone as part of an IVF cycle. Both Cyclogest pessaries (x3 a day) and prontogest injections (every 3rd day) as I had a previous miscarriage with my first round. Progesterone won’t cover a miscarriage - I was taking it when I miscarried my first pregnancy and the bleeding of the miscarriage will break through. It doesn’t affect line progression either as far as I know. Re; cramping I think this can be a common side effect but I didn’t have any x
