Firebird by Juliette Cross. Please tell me I’m not just crazy? 😅

I have 90 pages left but guys. … I hate it. I loved it at first. It was living up to hype. But then the more I read the more weird and semi cringey it got and I’m absolutely dreading having to finish it tomorrow. I will because I’m stubborn and I hate to DNF books lol but… ugh. I feel so bad that my husband wasted almost $30 on it. Granted, I’ll keep it because of the edges since it’s a special edition with sprayed/stenciled edges. Super curious who all has read it and what yall think? It’s reminding me of a certain author I can’t put a name to.. same weird dark fantasy romance style though. I just dunno lol.
