Hi mamas! I had my daughter in June of ‘24 and am pregnant (unplanned) due in December of this year. I’m five weeks along but am panning on scheduling a C-Section as early as my OB says is safe. Is 18 months between births enough? Scared of putting too much stress on the scar.

i found out i was pregnant again in the end of January and due October and had my first in june of ‘24 as well. i was definitely scared too but my doctor reassured me that it happens more often than we think and that the risk isnt too big. im hoping the best for you! congrats!!

My OB recommended at least 18 months between births (waiting less time like triples risk of uterine rupture, but the overall risk is still small). A c section before labor is another tool for reducing risk of uterine rupture and may be safer in this instance than a vbac, but consult with your OB! Congrats!
