Extreme anxiety during pregnancy

Hi all! I’m 13 weeks pregnant and I have been feeling so much anxiety, tight throat, and had 2 panic attacks. I’m anxious about everything. It’s not about the pregnancy my anxiety or becoming a first time mom. It’s just anxious over everything that’s small and insignificant. I had anxiety before but nothing like this. I feel overly anxious and even depressed. Is this normal? I’m feeling so sick from the anxiety and I don’t know what I’m even anxious about. Any advice would be so appreciated

Hi! I am truly sorry you are feeling this way. Practice lots of breathing & doing the things that make you happy. Surround yourself with positive people and great energy ✨ happy thoughts and deep breaths babe 🫶🏻

Ground yourself. Literally. Take those shoes off and go stand in the grass and do some breathing techniques. Breathe in through the nose & out thru the mouth. And tell yourself some affirmations. “I can do this”, “I am strong”, “I am capable”, “I am mother”, “I have perseverance”. I have an anxiety disorder, raising heart, nausea, hard to breathe from the panic attacks.. the grounding and affirmations work for me. Good luck mama ❤️

Talk to your dr. Anxiety can be normal during and after pregnancy. If it is starting to affect your daily functioning, you really need to talk to someone, especially since it can get worse once you give birth. Best to get the support you need now.
