@Asha I read that iron starts to drop from 6 months. If breastfeeding, their seems to be mixed views on whether or not iron is in breastmilk or not
My son has good days and bad days. It is frustrating. Especially when like you say, you out the effort into cooking it, preparing it and they don't eat it, then there's loads of mess to clear up ha. However, it is Important to keep it relaxed as possible because if they see you're annoyed it puts them off. I try to give him what I'm having so isn't any extra work as such. I have made the odd thing that he seems to like such as black bean burger, raspberry oat bars and potato tots. Keep going and keep relaxed
@Michelle interesting I've not heard of that
@Asha it's important to pair with vit c to help body absorb the iron too :)
My son is 8 months today and won’t put a single thing in his mouth, I keep offering solids with each meal but so far he just wants to be spoon fed purées!
Its more about exposure and exploration of texture and tastes etc they don't actually need any of the food to fill them up or provide nutrients or replace formula or breastmilk. Keep exposing her and eventually she'll get the hang of it
