Isn’t that illegal? I thought school was mandatory?
@Kate school is an opt in or opt out, home education is the legal default until you choose to enroll your child to school in the UK.
I was home educated so I'm definitely open to the idea, but realistically we need two salaries for our lifestyle. I work party time though and will be keeping my Fridays off, so considering flexi schooling (my oldest is 3). Fridays aren't really a proper day in primary school anyway!
I have an almost 2 year old and will definitely be home educating her. So our Aug baby will also follow the same route. Im lucky we are in a position where I can be a stay at home mum and actually go balls deep into home ed. There is a group of like minded individuals im involved with already near me too, which is fab
If I had the money I would home educate
When I was pregnant with my toddler I was considering home educating, now he’s 2.5 I’m like hell no 😂
