They didn’t recall the vaccine? Safety warnings have been added due to a very small case of neurological disorder called GBS but there’s no evidence showing the vaccine causes a direct link to a neurological disorder. People have been fine after receiving the vaccine . It also doesn’t cause paralysis too…
@Zaiinab your being misinformed please check on government website which has approved research .
I had it yesterday. There has been clinical trials hence why it passed FDA approvals. After seeing how RSV affects babies and makes them so horrendously poorly, if there’s even a sliver of protection from it i would always take it
Had mine this morning. GBS might affect a small number of older adults but not pregnant women anyway. Bronchiolitis is nasty. Any immunity I can pass on to my baby is worth it
Had mine this morning. The vaccine isn’t new, it’s been around for years it’s just new on the NHS. Really not worth the risk of your child developing bronchitis from catching RSV or the breathing complications afterwards.

@Chloe i just shared what i read so panicked to the max i am always pro vaccines but this ones really got me thinking
@Emily i definitely agree but the issues coming up since last year is what got me in 2 minds
@Arifa I had a look after you mentioned the recall but there doesn’t look like there is enough evidence to say the RSV vaccine is the cause. Pfizer have just been told to add it to their packaging as a low risk that it could cause a very rare neurological condition. Pfizer is the vaccine you receive when pregnant and on the NHS so maybe focus your research specifically on that. Personally seems a very low risk it’s like with paracetamol they have to add on that it could cause liver or kidney damage. They just have to add it to cover their backs.
I have also searched this up as it is something new since September 2024 and came up with the same results. I'm defo not going to be a guinea pig! I'm all for vaccines and protecting ourselves but this one will defo be a miss for me.
