Opinions as a second car seat

Looking to get a car seat for my MIL car. It will be used maximum one day a week and needs to be easy to remove and install as she will be swapping it with other car seats throughout the week. Has any got any reviews on this car seat? Or recommendations for a small budget?

Graco slimfit r129 is £99 in Halfords atm x

@Kiera I did look at that but it is out of my budget really with my maternity pay ending too. I’ve tried to search online for a 2nd hand one but no one is selling them in my area.

There really isn’t much cheaper that would be recommended and keep the baby safe unfortunately, especially not a forward facing seat. Joie stages is £85 in Smyths if that’s any good?x

@Kiera it will be rear facing, I want her RF until she is at least 2 maybe 3 years old if she doesn’t get too fussy with it. Such a shame there isn’t much budget options that are safe

You’re not really allowed to sell second hand car seats so a lot of people don’t bother because they’re meant to have been checked etc so it puts people off xx just keep checking incase someone decides to as the cheapest you’ll get is £100 new really x

@Liza the seat you posted is forward facing only x

Puggle is one of the worst car seat brands on the market, this seat is also forward facing only so wouldn’t be a safe potion. Graco Slimfit R129 would be the best out of budget seats, it’s light and easy to install and must importantly safe. I don’t think there are any safe seats that are cheaper. You can get this from Halfords for £89 with a discount xx

Omg thank you, when I was trying to research it there was so many different things coming up I thought I saw it said RF. That settles it I won’t be buying it. Can’t believe it says suitable from 9 months but by law you can’t have them forward until 15 months

@Liza it’s 9kg or 15 months depending on the car seat unfortunately😢
