Cranky Baby

My son is 2 months and 3 weeks old. Since yesterday, he has been fussy during the day and evening. He has not been sleeping very well, taking short naps and seeking contact naps. He starts crying as soon as we put him down. Is this likely due to a growth spurt? It has been a little difficult for us as I am down with a cold and my partner has been handling him most of the day.

Growth spurt, sleep regression, could be teething. I have learned no matter what it is it normally takes a week or two to get back on track. I've lived off caffeine and dreams the last almost 2 years now 🤣

Does he like music? Ocean sounds?

@Susan he likes it when his dad sings

According to wonder weeks, they go through a growth spurt at 11.5 weeks. It's according to due date. My baby was 2 weeks early so he went through that growth spurt at 13.5 weeks. He is 14.5 now & not fussy. I'd look up wonder weeks. They've been accurate so far!

@Kay thanks! I checked wonder weeks just now and looks like he is going through Leap 3

Yay! This leap was especially hard. Idk why. But wonder weeks just gives you almost a heads up of when it'll happen. It's not perfect but definitely helpful. I have the book I've been reading and it's interesting. They have a paid app but apparently it isn't as detailed.

@Kay I will definitely read more about this
