@Qua’zanae that's my thing. I've given her a list of things I allow that are healthy snacks items, but she refuses and keeps buying disgusting cheetos chocolate hard candy. I hate throwing away food knowing some kids don't eat everyday but I'm not willing to feed my kids this stuff
I would also have to say something if it was all the time. I’m all for a treat here and there but I don’t want to make it a habit really.
I wouldn’t throw it out in front of her but I wouldn’t keep it. Can it be donated? Some folks just don’t get it. I lt annoying to keep reminding them. I would have hubby to speak with her.
“Save it for the kids” but save em up for holidays or parties lol 😂
My school has a food donation box. (For non perishables) Lol I would put it in there 💀😵💫😂 or put it up high out of reach and when you have a picnic etc then pull them out.
I would keep it, put it in a box and then donate it when the box is full before the items expire.
@Dana 🦅♥️🤍💙 sometimes she brings expired snack those I'll definitely throw out but I do like then idea of donating
I throw out stuff all the time because we choose to be dye free and no artificial sweeteners etc.
My mom thankfully beings fruit salad or fruit cups. I'm so grateful. Maybe the fun cups could be a change that works for her?
At the end of it all, they are your kids. People (doesn’t matter who) have to learn to respect wishes. She can still buy treats and snacks, there are a million alternatives that healthier.
