@Catherine yeah when he was a newborn I didn’t think anything of it either
Twitches when falling asleep are pretty normal. Even adults do that sometime. Usually it happens when a person is right on the edge of sleep right past being wake. .
Sounds like moro reflex. Pretty normal.
They do this when falling asleep your body just twitches. My husband twitches so hard he wakes me up 🤦♀️. But everyone does it!
My baby did something similar, i was super worried i tried several times to record to no avail. Took her to d GP, even to A&E where the doctor on duty said it was a behavioural, they eventually grow out of it. She had been checked severely and nothing was wrong, eventually she stopped. I don’t know if it’s same thing, but i do hope e grows out of it as well. Else persist with the doctors till your nind is at ease.
Entire body though?
Is he doing it when he stretches also? My baby does it
@Hannah only when he is asleep (not stretching) but I do know the stretching shake this is completely different
@Sera Kay ✨ ahhh okay I’m very sorry mama I hope everything gets figured out please keep us posted. Do you have a local doctor or portal to reach out to or nurse about this?
@Hannah not really. But from what other people have said about falling into a deep sleep makes sense to me there is NOTHING on the net about it and I have searched far and wide and it looks like I’m not the only one. We shall see. Thankyou xx
My newborn does while feeding not sure what it is but I put it down to them learning to be on the outside and they are always learning new things
