Tall and slim! If 100 boys the same age were lined up in height order the 1st being the shortest 100 being the tallest your boy would be the 2nd tallest out of the 100, same with weight 1 being the lowest weight of boys the same age and 100 being the heaviest of boys the same age your boy would be 25 in the lineup if that makes any sense?!x
My son was 90th percentile height and 41 percentile Weight for his 2 year check up
Yeah I understand on not understanding the whole percentile thing. I’ll be thinking oh I’m so happy my baby put on a pound (he was really underweight after birth) the pediatrician the shatters that going off percentile. It’s definitely frustrating and confusing since everything from their head to their toes has a percentile 😫
Omg thank you all so much !! This makes sense because he can fit 0-3 clothes length wise (sometime I have to cut the feet out his sleepers lol) but width wise is HUGE on him . And he’s already in size 1 shoes . So all of that makes perfect sense
He is very tall and might look skinny because he is very tall. Gaining some weight would be good but it is not that bad to say he is low weight.
@𝔾𝕚𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖 okay thats good to know ! The doc wasn’t concerned with his weight gain so I shouldn’t either . He was 6lbs even at birth and was 11 when she weighed him for his shots so I guess he’s gaining weight as he should but because he’s tall its like you said it may seem like he’s not but its all evening out
@Margaret yess Ive heard them say the whole percentile thing from day one but I didn’t know what they were talking about so I kept ignoring it lol
