What would you do? Those who are paying photographer for their babies cake smash if you’re doing one rather than taking them yourselves this is a question for you. The photographer amusing will be a little over 400 after a tip. She hasn’t been overly accommodating with what I was looking for and now kind of find out even though a lot of the price she does charge towards the cake and a cake topper. I found out today that my daughter is getting a simple white frosted cake nothing pretty colorful decorated towards the theme and she’s absolutely getting no cake topper because she ordered one that doesn’t even go with her theme And she goes well. I don’t have time to order a new one because her photos are on Sunday I’m absolutely pissed because obviously the whole point comes together with the cake and the cake topper. So far I’ve paid $50 as that was a deposit. Should I just cancel the session altogether because of this because I can’t find any cake topper that fits or match as well with the background and the dress. I feel like for the price paid. She should’ve been more prepared. It’s partially my fault because I did go back back-and-forth with her on different backgrounds, but I told her I was leaning for the other one, even though she was trying to get me to do the one that I didn’t like, and I told her that I was leaning towards one dress, but wasn’t sure about the other one. It depended how it looked on my daughter with the colors cause I was afraid of something washing my daughter out. So now torn on what to do as I want my daughters photos done so badly as is a special time, but I don’t wanna pay all this money for something that I’m not going to be happy with or obviously again the cake and the cake topper aren’t what was expected. The cake top she did end up buying is a different color and theme from what we’re doing.🫠😵‍💫🥴

I would be finding a different photographer. Shes doing what she wants to do and not what you want to do and youre the one thats paying for this. Your daughter only turns 1 once and you should be able to get what YOU want for her. $400 for her to try to tell you what you think you want is absurd.

@Tiffany the shoot is tomorrow and I’m stressing with finding another last min. That’s why if I go to her tomorrow that’s the last reason why. But a plain cake with no topper and no accessories to a backdrop of blowing my mom and has me upset.

Girl i hate that for you! She works for you not the other way around 😩 photo sessions are just way too expensive for you to not be able to get what you want 😕

@Tiffany well after I bought all the accessories and told her that I did she messages me canceling because I did didn’t send the payment fast enough as she says she needs to be paid full upfront now as it used to be paid in her studio, but she said she needs to be paid a day or two before now. I’m like are you for real like my daughter’s photos you’re canceling because I didn’t reply back to your message fast enough.

Oh wow 😕 i am so sorry to hear that 😩 honestly that sounds shady if she said one thing and then all of a sudden its another. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise!

@Tiffany oh wait there’s more to it so I replied back saying that I had full intentions of paying I’ve been to you a couple times before and always paid. I just didn’t reply because I was tied up to my son as he had an injury. she goes oh my gosh I’m so sorry I’ll send you another request so I was kind of questioning if I should just almost say screw her and not pay it just ignore her but I was also desperate so I paid it and I could you not she replied not even 10 second after I sent the post saying that I paid as it showed that she was just sitting there like you could see her little bubbles waiting as she was typing in her little picture and she goes. It’s already set up for you so you’re all set. I’m like hold up. You didn’t wanna set it up until I paid and suddenly it’s all set up even before I sent the payment. I thought that was shady but now I’m kind of wanting a refund and not going because she just sent me more pictures and she doesn’t have anything that matches

@Tiffany but now I’m wanting a refund since it’s inconvenience after inconvenience and nothing that was promised or when I’m paying for but stupid me didn’t even realize that she sent it through friends and family until I got the email like usually it shows every time before I make a payment, but this time it didn’t all it said wasamount request can’t be changed so being a business I automatically just assume she was sending it through goods and services so now I can’t even go through PayPal for a refund and I highly doubt she’s gonna refund me

Thats awful! She definitely sounds like a scam. For you to go through all of that and she does that. The audacity! And the fact that you have used her before and she does that is just wild. Id be threatening a lawsuit
