Fussiness, please help

My son born April 3rd has (within the last few days) been extra fussy. I’m not sure why, he cries and cries.. after he eats I can’t put him down for an extra hour he squirms a lot and whines.. he seems to have some sort of discomfort but I can’t figure out what exactly. Is this normal for a 3 week old? Anything I can do to help him? Please and thank you.

Maybe gas? You could try bicycles, extra burping, possibly gas drops to see if any of that helps if you haven’t already. Based on the timing, sounds like it is related to his feeding. Potentially dairy intolerance?

Thank you I’ll try your suggestions I appreciate it ❤️

Of course! Dealing with a ton of fussiness over here too. You got this!!

If he’s formula fed you can put a few gas drops in the bottle to see if it helps. The bicycle kicks never worked for my son. If the gas drops don’t work you can switch formulas. I ended up switching to a European formula because all the American brands have corn syrup. So far so good with the HiPP formula! You can go that route too!

Gas, reflux, or CMPA? You can try gas drops or the Frida Windy. Bicycle kicks and belly massage didn’t work for my son until he was 3 months.

I had to get premiie nipples first because when he did start to get jacked up I figure it was the amount of air he is in taking. After P nipples we found “T” then the bottles went to 1 and 2 is where we are at now. Try to make sure you’re feeding the baby before the screaming of “in hungry” starts — the more they cry before feeding and during lead to too much air intake . We got an app called baby tracker. It allows us to put everything we do and when we d
