Peanut app: how to see who waved at you
There are two ways to see who waved at you on Peanut, so it’s up to you whichever works best for you!
1. Waving back
The first way to see who waved at you on Peanut is to wave back at that person.
That way, both women who wave are keen to make a connection.
So, if you’re new to the Peanut app wondering “how do I see who waved at me for free”, the answer is to wave at people who you want to connect with.
Then, if any of those women have already waved at you, you’ll connect ‒ like peanut butter and jelly!
2. Unlocking see who waved at you on Peanut
We’ve also introduced a premium feature where you can ‘unlock’ your waves to see who waved at you.
When you log onto the Peanut app, the Discovery section (the icon that looks like two cards) will show you new potential connections for you to wave at.
Then, at the top of your screen, you’ll see a section called ‘See Waves’.
There, you’ll see a list of all the Peanut users who have waved at you, but they’ll be blurred out ‒ locked.
To unlock those waves, simply click the button at the bottom and select the PeanutPlus payment plan that suits you best.
Not only will you be able to see who waved at you on Peanut, but you’ll also have access to read receipts, undoing waves, and boosting your profile.
Pretty cool, right?
How to wave back on Peanut
It’s as easy as a swipe!
Simply swipe up to wave at someone who you’d like to connect with, or swipe down if you’d rather not connect with them right now.
If that person’s already waved at you, then you’ll be connected, and you can start chatting with them right away!
People won’t see whether you’ve waved at them unless they wave back at you.
After all, it takes two to tango.
How to undo wave on Peanut
Accidentally waved at someone and want to take it back?
Hey, it happens.
To unlock the feature to undo waves on Peanut, you’ll need to be PeanutPlus user, which you can upgrade to under ‘See Waves’ in the Discovery section.
Or, if you’d prefer a free way to undo waves, you’ll have to wait until the other person waves back, then simply message them explaining the mistake ‒ then you won’t have to ghost them by not responding to their messages.
They’ll appreciate your honesty, even if it does feel slightly awkward.
Can users see when you wave in Peanut?
Someone can only see when you wave if they’ve already waved at you, or if they are a PeanutPlus member of the community.
If you’ve already waved at them, and they come across your profile and also give you a swipe up, then you’ll get a notification saying you’ve just made a connection ‒ so get chatting!
If they haven’t yet waved at you, they will have a notification to say someone’s waving at them, but it won’t say who (unless they’re a PeanutPlus member).
Your profile will be added to their roster on their Discovery page, and they can choose, from your profile, whether to swipe up or swipe down.
So that’s all there is to know about waving and making connections on Peanut!
