Love it!! We have Nel and Wren on our list!

I like Goldie :)xxxxxx

I just met a teen that lived next door to me with this name!

It seems to work for her, and if you and other parent like it then that’s all you need :)

@Emma ahh cute! I’ve just seen you have a Florence that’s my second favourite at the moment 🥰 xx

@Ariel that’s good to know thank you :) x

@Holly I'd say go for Florence but I'm biased 😆 my little girl is Florence Daisy 💗xxxxxxx

@Emma aww so gorgeous! Do you have any nicknames for her? Xx

@Holly we call her all sorts 😂 she gets Flo, Flossy cakes, flowy, Flora, Flo rida 😂😂xxxxxx

@Emma haha so cute! Love it 🥰 xxxxx

I personally love Birdie! It definitely will be a split name I think, but I think it’s very vintage/whimsical classy 😊

I love it. People are always going to have an opinion. Trust your gut ♥️

@Emma flo rida 🤣🤣🤣

@Debs that's the best one 😂😂

@Sarah Beth thank you! Yes that’s what i love about it :)

I love it!!!! Here’s a suggestion though if you don’t want to commit fully. Name her after a bird? Raven, Wren etc and call her birdie for fun? I’ve also heard of it being a nickname for Bridget or Elizabeth. But I think it is ADORABLE on its own 🥰

I don't hate it, just not keen

Your baby your choice.

@Megan thank you all lovely ideas :) 🥰❤️

@Laurie thank you any particular reason? :)

@Holly I can't imagine an adult with the name, if that makes sense?

I think this is a bold name and unique! I particularly prefer common/simple names. My husband is the opposite haha so I wouldn’t choose for one of my kids BUT the main goal is that you and your SO connect to it! I’m struggling with it myself too… like what MIL will think or how’s it gonna be in school… but in the end of the day I will name the baby something I love to say and is meaningful for me&SO I love @Megan suggestion! But remember… my style is “normal/boring” names haha

My name is Brandi and my daughter is said to be my twin. So one of my sisters nicknamed her Birdie. I’ve only ever heard it as a nickname honestly. Don’t think of it as a name especially for a grown woman.

I think it’s such a cute nickname but not sure for a full name - especially as an adult! But if you love it you decide!! At the end that’s what matters!

I love it’ and at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what other people think, it’s your child. X

I think nice as a nickname, but not as a full name personally x

I love it

@Maura yay 😁

I love it, not my usual style at all but something about it is lovely. Feel the same about Goldie 😍 my partner would never agree to it though!

it's not horrible, just knowing this generation (just turned 17) they will make fun of it

I love it! Anyways I think you shouldn’t care about other people’s opinions if you really want that name 🥰

Love it 😍

It’s so cute

Where I live it probably wouldn't work...but I imagine if you live in the countryside, it might be good!

If your love it then it will be 💜

I like it!

I have always love it!! I’d use it as a nickname for Bernadette or Roberta. Husband wouldn’t budge so my old car was named birdie lol

Cute I like it

This would have been my name for a girl!

Wren, Dove, Bonnie ?

I really like it but personally I’d probably use it as a nickname. Like maybe name her Bryony, Bianca, Brianne or something (Bryony or Briony would be especially nice) and use the nn Birdie. Or possibly use a name like Robin, Wren, Starla, Paloma etc with the nn birdie

I love it
