I love the name Santiago (Santi nn)
Question is my husband and I are as British as you get, my other half has a teeny tiny bit of Irish only, do you think Santiago is too European for us? I don't even know how to ask the question, do you know what I mean though? I feel we might be laughed at, having a boy with this name too, very English names between us all too, even my first born. Don't want to come across the wrong way. 🤔

My only recommendation is to make sure you know the origin, meaning, and history of the name. Nothing wrong with loving, appreciating, and using a name from another culture or area as long as you pay it respect ☺️
Too European? You mean Spanish or Latin American? It’s a gorgeous name, but I would assume you speak Spanish
