Somedays I wish holidays didn't exist.

I don't even know why I'm disappointed. It's always the same. My husband didn't acknowledge mother's day at all until I made plans with my mother. He was upset that I wanted to take our son "all evening" to go to dinner with my mom. Then my mom and brother canceled 30 minutes before. We had nothing to cook for dinner because I said before I wasn't cooking for myself for mother's day so I didn't buy anything to make. So I had a corn dog for dinner and washed and folded 3 loads of laundry.
