Cradle cap

My 9 week old boy has some areas of cradle cap on his scalp but also has loads of hair so I am struggling to treat it, does anyone have any tips? He also has a bit in his eyebrows if anyone can recommend anything for that too? Thanks!

I used olive oil or coconut oil and washed regularly with aveeno baby shampoo and its cleared up x

I use Uriage xemose oil to wash with water and then uriage xemose cream and it is helping a lot. I use it in his hair too! Around the eyebrows it took a week to go away

Put coconut oil on, leave to soak for 10 mins. Brush with a baby brush or comb, then wash off in Bath and it should be a lot better. Do again for a few days until its gone

I use the Frida mum cradle cap brush with aveeno in the bath. I bathe him everyday but don’t use soap everyday maybe 2 or 3 days a week then I use the Nala baby massage oil every night and it seems to do the trick!

I used baby oil, let it soak for an hour, massage gently with a baby toothbrush, then wash off in the bath. You're not looking to scrub it off quickly in one treatment, just soften and loosen it slowly over time. I think my little girl's only took about 2 weeks but she didn't have a lot... My newborn seems to have dodged it so far with just a tiny bit of flaky scalp here and there.

Extra virgin olive oil, massage into hair or use a medicine syringe to apply between hair, leave for a while then wash with baby shampoo and use a baby brush to gently exfoliate the build up. For eyebrows either dab some on with your fingertips or put some on a cotton bud and leave for a while, then use another cotton bud to gently rub the dead skin away xx

Frida mum cradle cap brush and aveeno baby shampoo has been a life saver!
