You sound frustrated & need a Break. Your 3 year old is acting like the typical 3 year old. He will talk when he's ready. Please don't resent him for being a toddler. They are all a handful. Ask someone to give you a break.
@Kristy oddly enough I think my feelings would be easier to process if I resented him. I am tired and frustrated, but damn I love this kid. The good days really do erase the bad. I guess I just wish I could have my second one all to myself like I had with my oldest.
You’re not alone momma ❤️ my 2 year old is acting the same way & i have a 2 month old as well that i can’t enjoy either having to always be entertaining my toddler. He’s constantly throwing tantrums and being defiant no matter what i do. I just try to involve him more & talk to him about stuff i’m doing with the baby. or i let him burp the baby and i smile and say good job! and it has helped so much to make him feel involved & make it feel like we’re all spending time together vs me and the baby or me and him. it’s always us three, or alone time with toddler while baby is sleeping in his crib. You’re doing your best, like everyone else is saying, try to get help and take a break or a mini vacation one weekend for yourself.
You are not a failure. You are adjusting to an entire whole new life. Keep going it will get better.
This doesn’t sound like your fault hun, it sounds like it’s a big adjustment for the whole family.
