When can I shave after labor

I don’t have an answer I’m commenting so I can find out the answer when someone tells you because I don’t have the slightest clue

I was and at my 8 week pp check up my doctor told me it was ok but I was so scared I didn’t got until I was 3 months pp to get my wax 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It depends if you get stitches. I didn’t get stitches and shaved like 5 days after giving birth

I would say at least after your 6 wk check up. I’m 4 weeks postpartum, I ended up having 3 tears but didn’t need stitches since they were first degree. Month later I’m not in pain like I was but I’m very sore when i touch down there. I’m a wax girl so Ik it might take a while until I’m able to wax again. But even if you don’t tear at all I would wait just bcuz of potential infection but you should also ask your provider.
