Hello! It’s been fine so far. I didn’t realise why I’d got it until after the op, just saw I’d brought this box home attached to me! Haha but so far so good. It’s a little annoying down the sides where it’s started to itch me but in regards to its job, I think it’s doing it 😀 Bet you can’t wait to meet your little one! It’s magical 🩷
It is meant to vibrate from time to time, that’s how it maintains the negative pressure. As long as the light stays green and your dressing feels firm then you should be all good but can always ask midwife/health visitor if concerned!
The vibration is normal to indicate that your dressing is having the added pressure/liquid you need to maintain healing. I'm on day 6 of it and had no concerns. The midwifes, when checked, say it all looks good. I'm to have mine removed tomorrow, so I'm a bit worried about how it will feel after.
@Sara hi, in the whole week I’ve had it on, it’s not vibrated once. That’s what got me curious x
I haven’t had my c-section yet so don’t have an answer for the above unfortunately - But wondered if it was okay to jump on to ask how you’ve been getting on with the Pico dressing? I’ve seen a lot of good things being said about it for c-section recovery and I am going to request one next week when I should be having my little one! Just don’t know a whole lot about them. I hope you’re recovering well ☺️. Thank you x
