Maternity grant pay out
I received a text from dwp 2 weeks ago saying they were processing my form and will contact me in 28 days. Haven't heard anything yet. If you receive universal credit and got a maternity grant, how long after receiving a text from dwp did you find out if you had been approved for the grant or not? And how long after receiving your uc payment did you receive the maternity grant?

If your on uc do you have to apply for it or do you automatically get it ?

How long did you have to wait after applying to get the text to say it was being processed? X
@Bex took a month for me to get the text, they're not quick x

Some one put on another post this week in another group apparently there running behind and they are working through a back log of applications x

i got told by my universal credit person that it takes 14 days to accepted then 3-5 days to be transferred to you bank but that could be different to others?
