We have just started weaning. I would recommend Bibado as the cutlery can attach to the bib so stops it falling. However my little boy keeps putting the spoon right to the back of this throat so I am not using them just now just the bib. I am using panda ear weaning set off Amazon the spoons are much better for him to use as I have just been loading the spoon and he does the rest or picks stuff up. The suction plate and bowls are good too. We have just gone for free flow sippy cup (Asda) and then just going to use the panda ear open cups.
We used bibado bibs for the first few months of weaning and they were amazing! She did start fighting them around 10-11 months though. Ikea highchair I'd also recommend, so easy to clean! And basically every cafe has the ikea highchair! I've just gone for any spoons I can find as I seem to lose them ridiculously quickly. We found suction plates useless so just use any plate as well. For drinks we went with tommee tippee sippy cups which do leak a little bit and we got gifted a lovely water bottle but unfortunately it cracked after baby banged it on the table so found a cheap one in tesco with baby sharks on it which is fab! I had a tip from someone that said only buy one plate/bowl/etc as that keeps you accountable for cleaning. I bought 2 of each and it actually does work 😅
I'd highly recommend skipping everything else and going for Bibado (especially the latest ones with poppers) and Easytots suction plates (I like the Easymat Minimax best). Both are great for baby led weaning. I also spoon fed some things like soup and I like the IKEA bowls and cutlery sets for that. I got the plates, bowls and cutlery (6 of each for less than a tenner in total) and they're good for things you spoon feed but also good cutlery to learn with, and good bowls and plates for when they no longer need the suction ones. So that's my top 3 things to buy as I've tried many other things with my eldest and these are much better! Oh, and for a high chair, the best ones are either IKEA Antillop (but add a footrest), Bebestyle Classic or Stokke Tripp Trapp (for the stylish, spendy option). All 3 are nice and upright and easy to clean. Don't get sucked in by cushioned, reclining ones. 😊
