I got called for December 2023 and wasn't able to get out of it due to pregnancy, however i never ended up having to go in as I didn't get picked thankfully. I had to call in every day to an answer machine to confirm if I was required or not, until the 3rd day and it said don't call back as I hadn't been selected. I'm in Scotland if it's different here.
@Fern thanks I've read this site but can't see anything about pregnancy.
My partner got summoned, but asked to delay due to my pregnancy and it was approved
I got out of it in my last pregnancy but it was mid COVID.. maybe lay it on thick 🤣
Quick update, I told them in ny response that I'd be in my 3rd timester and would need special allowance for frequent snacks, loo trips and time out for antenatal appointments. I got confirmation yesterday that I'm excused.
