Surprise Natera Bill

I got a surprise Natera bill over a year and a half after the genetic test and getting my bill settled with them. Anyone else experiencing this? I have screen shots showing what I paid and the rest was written off back in August 2022. Then in January 2024 I got a new bill for some random amount saying I had to pay in 5 days or the amount would go up. My baby is literally walking and talking now. The customer service person just said something like “well the insurance didn’t respond to the claim until now.” But I have an EOB dated July 2022 and I settled the bills with them in August 2022.

still working on it, gonna try to apply for financial assistance but if not gonna put it on a payment plan

Had some similar experiences. Definitely talk to your insurance and doctors office. There are a lot of bogus bills out there. Once they take your money you can’t get it back.

i got one too! damn inflation got everybody with their hands out, begging for money 🤲🏽… i don’t have it to pay so idk where they’re gonna get the money from 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Nahla I called and complained sighting I had screen shots and they directed me to an email address (black hole). I called my provider and asked for a POC with Natera and my provider emailed me/cc’d the rep. Within a half hour the rep called me and “fixed” the problem. I haven’t gotten a bill but I never got a receipt like they promised and it isn’t available online. I followed up a half dozen times and they haven’t gotten back to me. So we’ll see. Awful company, awfully shady.
