No, I think Evie is a pretty name🥰 I have a Millie, which a lot of the time is a nickname for something longer but we loved just millie so went for it 🩷 xx

My partner actually says the opposite when coming to names he hates the idea of naming a child for them to be called a nickname instead anyway and has always said if you’re going to end up calling them a shortened version then that should just be their name 😂 we get into debates about it frequently - coming off that I think Evie is a beautiful name and if you don’t want it elongated then I think you should just keep it as it is short and sweet

I think if you like the shortened version just go with it. There very few real rules on names!
