NUK latex teat

I haven’t used the latex teats but I got the Nuk perfect match ones as my little boy all of a sudden refused his bottles I tried all different teats and bottles and they were the only ones that he took to, he hasn’t got a tongue tie but he has a heart shaped tongue so finds it difficult with certain tests and dummies! He took to these straight away as they’re so soft and they basically mould to the shape of the babies mouth! You can get them from boots but I got mine from Amazon as I got a multipack the only thing is they come with medium flow tests and they were a little too fast for him so I just ordered the slower flow ones separate and kept the medium flow aside for when he’s ready! Could always just order one of the bottles to give it a test run?xx

I used it at first for my little one as it was what the hospital recommended (high pallete and 75% tongue tied) but I didn’t think they were that great, then bought some mam bottles as recommended by the tongue tie specialist and they were a lots better, she’s had her tongue cut now but the only way she was managing a bit of a latch before hand was on mam bottles x

Im currently using mam bottles but baby is struggling with those.

Have you tried tomme tippee? My child has mild tongue tie and he never has struggled drinking from bottle since he was born with these xx

Yep ive tried them too, he seemed fine drinking from bottle when he was younger. Now he will hardly take the bottle or breastfeed properly theres too much clicking which makes him really gassy.

We switched to Lansinoh as that’s what the lactation consultant recommended (our LO also had posterior tongue toe and high palate) and they made a big difference! They also fit the mam bottles if you’re already using those x

Oh right thank you ill give them a go. Are they safe to microwave sterile like mam teats.
