Baby scrunches up nose and upper lip when she sees something she likes? Normal?
Baby started doing this about a couple of weeks ago, it's like she's smiling but lifts up her upper lip to expose her top gum all while scrunching up her nose - it's like a really gummy smile.
It can also look like a snarl but she isn't snarling or making noises like a monster or anything 🤣 so hard to describe! But it's a scrunchy face type expression!
She does it when she sees something she likes/interested in - is it normal? Stupid rabbit hole on Google has me worried

My boy scrunches his nose sometimes, I realise I do it when I’m looking at him sometimes so assumed he’s copied me!
@Louise As soon as I wrote this I realised that I also have done the same thing with our little girl! I do like an open mouth smile and kind of snarl, in a cute way, and since writing this post she's mimicked me doing it, then mimicked me smiling normally - I'm guessing now that's my own anxieties and Google being once again, stupid 😅
Yes it’s just a form of smiling. Completely normal!
Mind does this! We call it her granny smile 😂😂
