Can we go to concerts?

Can we go to loud concerts when pregnant? I heard we cannot since the baby can hear and hurt them inside the womb in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Let me know! I am 18 weeks

I'd say get seats far from the stage and stay away from speakers and go anyway. The noise level from one concert for a few hours shouldn't damage their ears. Ask your provider if you're uneasy about it but I personally wouldn't miss seeing an artist I loved bc I was pregnant. My mom went to a U2 concert when she was pregnant with me and I have no hearing problems

Asked my gyno about this and she said go right ahead! Just make sure you’re hydrated and near a bathroom lol

https://mommylabornurse.com/blog/1st-trimester/can-you-go-to-a-concert-pregnant/ Baby has only just started to hear at 18 weeks and isn't fully responding to noises for another few, so you should be just fine

I have been to two concerts when pregnant. My OB had no issue. Just be mindful of long bathroom lines

I’m going to a concert in May when I’m 25 weeks and I’ll be way in the back. I did some research and for the most part it’s safe as long as you’re not by speakers.

I went to one in my 17 weeks my Oby said of course

These babies are super protected in our womb and the volume the music would need to be at to damage their ears while certainly destroy ours. We are very cautious once they are out, but while they are inside, volume is not a problem

I’m going to a music festival in May (~24 weeks), and my OB had no concerns. She just strongly recommended that I stay super hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

I have a concert at like 32 weeks and my OB said it will be fine!
