My little boy is 2 in September and still has his on the top of his bum
My little one is 19 months and still has his right on his bum. It’s a bit lighter but definitely still there
Mine! I’m white but my husband’s family is Korean, and they were all born with one. My baby has a huge one across her hip. Looks like a big bruise! We had it documented at the hospital when she was born and with her pediatrician (along with her various stork-bite/angel kiss birth marks she got from me, lol) just in case anyone else changes her diaper and mistakes it for a bruise and reports us. It does happen, so it’s a good idea to have her birthmarks documented. And yes, according to my husband’s family most of the time the blue spots do go away during toddler or early child years. All of theirs are gone except my husband. He still has part of his, but it’s smaller and darker than it was as a baby, according to his mom, lol.
My daughters blue spot shrunk and she now has a faint mark on the base of her back now and she’s 2.
They do I had them when I was a child and they disappear as they grow
Yes both my kiddos had it. My daughter had it on her back, probably by 3 it was mostly faded. My youngest is almost 2 and had it on his back and bottom, they're almost completely faded too. Just make sure you have it documented with your pediatrician and also give daycare/babysitters a heads up. I had a babysitter mistaken it for a bruise.
Aww that’s good it gets fainter by the time and disappears after a while, yeah I had made sure it was all wrote down on her red book and everything what they was because they do look like bruises even when I first saw them when I birthed her I thought they was bruises to I just don’t want people to think they are bruises I have to keep explaining that they are birth marks to family and friends who come see us and at every appointment I have Xx
I have a blue spot on my butt, that I’ve had my whole life
Yes! My baby is half Indian and have one on the bridge of her nose :) But she’s only almost 5 months, so it is still there haha
My daughter is almost three and still has hers all over her back.
My son was born with blue Mongolian spots from the top of his shoulders & they continue all the way down to the bottom of his bum. Drs/nurses would always make comments about how it’s the most Mongolian spots they’d ever seen on a baby 😅 I also agree with the other mamas, make sure your LO’s spots are documented & you let any caregiver/future physicians know they have these spots. When my little guy was born the spots were extremely dark & they were all over. He’s almost 3.5yrs old now & he does have some spots but most of the spots have faded & have shrunken in size by a ton! I was told that his spots would likely fully go away by adulthood.
I’ve got a blue spot on my bum. It’s been there my whole life. My younger brother had a blue spot on his bum but his disappeared when he grew up. Sorry if that’s not hugely helpful.
My son and daughter were both born with them and still have them. My 6 yr Olds is alot lighter now though
My son had huge ones on his butt and thighs when he was born. He's 15 months now and they've almost completely faded you can barely see it anymore.

My son had like 7. They go away after a year or so. Mostly on his little booty and back and back of neck
My little one has them in exactly the same spot. She is almost 4 and they aren’t as obvious anymore.
My little man had it all over his bum at birth and he’s now 6 months and it has mostly gone x
Yes both my twins have the spots on back, bum, and one of them looks like she is wearing a pair of faint socks.
My LO is 7 months and still has his. From what I’ve read it doesn’t disappear it just gets smaller as they grow x
