You are going to be at least a week less than going off your period date but likely more. I ovulate late and have long cycles and I haven’t bothered to try and work out my due date this time. You will get a more accurate due date at your 12 week scan. I was dated a week and a half back with my son and this was obviously a more accurate date as he was born exactly on the due date given then.
Thanks for your reply @Anon that was helpful for me too. I am in exactly the same boat! Period date was the 9th on a possible 35-36 day cycle (body has been giving weirdly long cycles for the last 3 months. Positive test was on the 14th and test says I was 1-2 weeks at that stage. All the apps are currently putting me at a due date of 13th Feb....so currently 7 weeks pregnant but I always suspected 7 weeks felt wrong and baby is probably younger than that as my ovulation tended to happen later in the cycle than most apps predicted me at on the few times I tested. Hi, the first day of my last period was 8th May & I tested positive on 13th June. The NHS calculator put me at 7 weeks + 1 (yesterday) with due date 12/02/25 but this is incorrect. I went for a private scan yesterday and they put me at 5 weeks + 5 with due date 22/02/25. I have irregular/long cycles.. not sure if this will help x

Congratulations also! The anxiety seems to be totally normal, I am also incredibly anxious with this being my first and I think I probably will be until the 12 week scan to be honest. Just be kind to yourself and rest x

If you add 2 weeks onto your ovulation date that’s probably your most accurate :) For estimated due date at 38weeks from ovulation.
